Subclass 771 transit visa is for people who wish to travel Australia to join vessel as crew. A transit visa is required even if applicant stays in the transit lounge and do not leave the airport, Applicant can also fly on same aircraft from the same airport.

1. Enter and remain in Australia for up to 72 hours.

2. Transit through Australia.

Required documents:

 

1. Confirmed booking to journey from Australia to a 3rd country within seventy two hours of arrival and documentation for entry to that 3rd country.

2. Valid passport.

1. Applicant need to pass through Australia to join member of the crew.

2. Applicant need to  pass through Australia on way to another country.
