Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program

  • International skilled worker - Occupations in active sub-category is now reopened to accept an additional 1000 applications.

Employment sub category for international skilled worker:

In this skilled workers with an offer of skilled employment from a Saskatchewan employer may be eligible to apply for nomination by Saskatchewan immigrant nominee program.

Eligibility:

If the applicant live outside of Canada or if he/she have proof of legal status in Canada must not refugee claimant they must meet the following criteria.

  • Applicant must score minimum of 60 points out of 100 on the point assessment.

  • In the past ten years minimum of 1 year experience.

  • Minimum language score of CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark). CLB four is minimum, regulatory bodies and employers may require higher language score.

  • If applicant intended occupation is compulsory apprenticeship trade, regulated profession  the applicant will be required to obtain proof of eligibility for Saskatchewan licensure to be able to work in that profession before you apply to the SINP.

  • As part of SINP application proof of eligibility for Saskatchewan licensure from the regulatory body will be required.

     

You must provide:

An offer of full time, permanent employment in Saskatchewan either in designated trade in Saskatchewan or NOC (national occupational classification) . To provide proof of this applicant must have a valid SINP job approval letter.

International skilled worker – Occupations in demand sub category:

Skilled workers who don’t have an employment offer but highly skilled in occupation that is in-demand in Saskatchewan may be eligible to apply for nomination by the SINP.

Eligibility:
 

  • Applicant must score minimum of 60 points out of 100 on the point assessment.

  • Proof of settlement plan and settlement funds.

  • Applicant must have at least one year of experience in past 10 years to the field of Training or education in a high skilled occupation in NOC.

  • Applicant must complete training, education or apprenticeship equivalent that is comparable to the Canadian education system.
