Denmark visit visa or Schengen visa

A non-EU national or overseas national who want to visit Denmark for a short period of time, must obtain a tourist visa or Schengen visa. This visa is designed to enable an overseas national to enter and reside in Denmark and/or the other Schengen nations for a limited period of time. If individual wish to stay in Denmark for an extended period of time, then they need to apply for a residence permit.

 

Requirements

In order to obtain Denmark visit visa, an overseas national need to meet the following requirements:

  • A valid passport

  • Enough finance

  • Return itinerary tickets

  • Ready to depart the country after the purpose of travel

  • Health insurance

  • Travel insurance

     

Under this visa, an overseas national can enter and spend a maximum of 90 days within any 180-day period in the Denmark.
