Introducing a minimum income requirement makes it more difficult for the dependents of the visa holders to join them. There has also been a change in the time allowed for a seasonal worker to work in New Zealand.
Immigration rules and the constant upcoming changes has become one of the hot topics over a couple of months. However the recent changes has helped the economy of New Zealand to strengthen the strongest gross domestic product growth in the world.
A lot of sectors like technology, construction and other face a severe shortage of workers and the companies falling in these areas were hiring workers from abroad as because of the recent changes employers would have to provide a minimum income of NZ$ 49,000 for an immigrant entering on a skilled visa.
