Thailand to witness nearly 37 lakh tourist visits in 2017

According to an analyst report, Thailand will have more tourists visiting the country this year as compared to 32 million in 2016.This no. is expected to impact the nation’s economy and would be indeed a boost for economic welfare and growth. The first quarter of 2017 has already seen 12 million tourist influx. This increase in tourist no’s will bring in additionally 41.23 billion USD from tourism resulting into the boost of GDP by 20%. This will also generate employment for many in Thailand. The country has various intrinsic features embedded in its ecosystem, which has enhanced its scenic beauty.
The travel agents, hotels, airline agencies and transportation services thrive on tourism. With the country being blessed by a perfect climate, trade environment and vivid cultures; the government keenly monitors the activities and should work with the private sector in revamping supply-demand of key sectors during the tourist visit to the country. The data from the Ministry of Tourism and sport gives an estimation that a bulk of foreigners have visited Thailand which has positioned it to no.1 followed European countries South Asia and East Asian countries.
